BCMblog takes on the Champ, John Chow in 3D and a Stupid Robot
Written by The Kid on January 10, 2008I don’t like losing, but this fight would probably not be close.
Kodak decided to push their brand with the Champ himself Lennox Lewis, I thought that was a weird decision but it was actually a pretty smart marketing move. What you can’t see is that there is a whole row of printers where you can take your memory card to and print the photo you just took.
On Tuesday night we were invited to the spectrum 3D party where they were demonstrating their new technology which requires the classic 3D glasses (not red and blue ones) but which are a little cooler because they are made by rayban. A few movies have come out in 3D over the last couple years, including Shrek and Beowulf. The highlight of the night though was when I put on the glasses and i got to see John Chow in 3D, i managed to take a picture of this with my camera and the lens, and now you get to see it.
Great picture i know. So after that i was walking around i managed to walk into the future, robots have been around for a while now from Johnny 5 to Asimo. Robots now are finally getting to the point where they are achieving a useful status, so you can imagine my joy when a saw a robot, i thought sweet, man has finally made a machine that we can be proud. Then i saw this piece of crap, I’m pretty sure it’s just a midget in a suit with a robot voice but who knows. There was one interesting thing though, as i was turning my camera off i managed to catch something very creepy, the robots trainer/leader said something, it’s hard to hear so turn up your speakers. If people go missing or someone dies in a mysterious robot death i think we know who is to blame.
Tomorrows post will be on Booth Babes, Guns and some actual technology yeaaa!
Now enjoy this clip! Go Sunny!
