    It has begun

Written by The Kid on April 10, 2008

Sick African Child Well as of midnight tonight there is no more food for me for the next 30hours yup only water, but while i do this to raise money some people have no choice and are forced to live like this everyday. The charity i am doing the 30 hour famine for is World Vision, here are a few stats also here is a video that might encourage you to donate.

  • World Vision was founded in 1950 by Dr. Bob Pierce
  • World Vision Famine events like the 30 Hour Famine and 40 Hour Famine also help to raise money for impoverished countries. Typically, a group signs up to organize such an event, and then spends the next 30 or 40 hours abstaining from food, technology (are you crazy ;) ) or other things that are taken for granted and increasing awareness about world hunger.
  • According to World Vision’s annual report, in 2005, 87% of its funding was spent on programs, 8% on fund raising and 5% on management and general overhead.
  • World Vision has responded to famine in Ethiopia and North Korea, hurricanes in Central America, the tsunami in the Indian Ocean nations, earthquakes in El Salvador, India, Taiwan and Turkey, and war refugees in Kosovo, Chechnya, Sierra Leone, Angola, and East Timo
  • Here is a video as well for you to enjoy!

Please donate to me if you would like to change the world!

Making money online comes with many privilges and i would encourage you to please give and help out all the people less fortunate than us!

    Thank you

    -Greg

    Goals

Written by The Kid on April 10, 2008

    Goals Poster
Goals the elusive thing most of us never accomplish, or even if we do we never set them very high to actually challenge ourselves.

How do i set my goals very simple i take a 3×5 index card i think about what i want and i normally double it, so if it’s money and i think i want 500k i will take it to 1 million, if it’s a date on the weekend (if i didn’t have a gf ;) ) i would aim for two dates that weekend, same thing goes for health and all aspects of your life.

Set 3 goals at a time, i think nowadays with so many distractions and all the things going on around us we get too distracted and we lose track of things, we need to focus. Study after study shows that people who multi task are inefficient compared to those who focus. Set 3 goals all in different areas of your life, Finance, Health, Relationships and so on, write them down on the index card and look at them every morning, and i mean every morning, it should be the first thing you do before you even brush your teeth or check your email.

Again focus make sure you do it, why everyday you might ask?  Well good question because even if you have no clue on how you are going to accomplish that goal your brain will start to work in the background on how you can accomplish it, if you don’t look at your goals everyday you will forget about them and never accomplish them.

    Lies are all you need

Your brain while it may be smart isn’t very bright (if that makes sense) if you write down a lie on a piece of paper, i.e. i will have 1 million dollars by Jan 1st 2009, your brain won’t be able to tell the difference between the lie and the truth and eventually your brain will start to believe it, this is why you must read your goals every morning when you wake up.

    So whats next?

Once you have accomplished a goal cross it out and reward yourself, people are still animals at the end of the day, reward us and we will do that behaviour again and again, this is why smart people always reward themselves after they accomplish a goal, go for dinner or buy a new toy do something that will make you feel great for accomplishing that goal.

Once you have completed one goal in one area of your life put a new goal up and make sure you challenge yourself don’t just make it easy because you want a reward ;)

You will be thanking me for this tip if you implement it, if not then continue as you were but i doubt you would have read this far if you were really accomplishing what you wanted in life!

If your not scheduling your time properly try reading my post on how i spend my day

Written by The Kid on April 8, 2008

Ok so i finally got my hands on these videos and this presentation, i told you before that Wil Reynolds of Think Seer did a kick ass job at Affiliate Summit West 2008, but i finally got a hold of the actual presentation and the slideshow it self.

    Wil Reynolds

Here is His Slide Show Presentation

I also decided to post the Super Affiliate video as well. This one was entertaining as you will see around the 40min mark when someone decides to ask about blackhat they start vague and eventually just say “i just want to make money”.

John Chow, Zac Johnson, Amit Mehta and Kris Jones

If there are any other video’s you want me to post let me know i’ll see what i can do. For anyone that missed these or couldn’t attend, enjoy ;)

Cookie Stuffing for fun and profit!

Written by The Kid on April 7, 2008

Well it’s testing time and like i promised it rhymes with cookie stuffing, for this we are going to use the guide over at ESRUN - Blackhat SEO to do a little test, we are going to be using the Image Cookie Stuffing Method.

    Basic Run down

    Cookie Stuffing

Cookie stuffing is when you insert your cookie into the clients browser, kinda of like if you were a salesman for a company and you walked up to people in the mall and said when you go to Bestbuy tell them Joe sent you. This will allow you to collect your commission from the sale, so what we do is go and place our image on places that people shop or even better prepare to shop, i.e forums, blogs, wiki anywhere that lets you upload a avatar image or any image.

    Things that are required

    1. Own hosting, this can be shared hosting where your blog is.

    2. Affiliate accounts with major companies or affiliate companies.

    3. To automate this you can use a forum posting software like Xrumer don’t ask me where to get this though, but using this you can automate a lot of posts.

    4. Some work ethic - realistically you can do this for 30-40 mins a day and leave a bunch of comments on a ton of forums or blogs.

So step one read the guide over at Esrun about how to do the basics and use these files to get yourself setup, next step is go to Google and type in the word “Forums” with the term your searching from in front of it, i.e ebooks, amazon or any product you are promoting try poker or goto a health forum on a specific product and goto the FAQ section or somewhere were people who are about to buy are looking for answers.

    That’s it, it’s just that easy =)

Leave your comments rinse and repeat and your done, i will be running a 30 day test and report back with the results. Till then what do you do? Any places you want to share?

P.S. Shout out to Esrun for writing such a good post on the subject, no need to duplicate his post, the internet already has enough duplicate content. ;)
