Goals
Written by The Kid on April 10, 2008
Goals the elusive thing most of us never accomplish, or even if we do we never set them very high to actually challenge ourselves.
How do i set my goals very simple i take a 3×5 index card i think about what i want and i normally double it, so if it’s money and i think i want 500k i will take it to 1 million, if it’s a date on the weekend (if i didn’t have a gf
) i would aim for two dates that weekend, same thing goes for health and all aspects of your life.
Set 3 goals at a time, i think nowadays with so many distractions and all the things going on around us we get too distracted and we lose track of things, we need to focus. Study after study shows that people who multi task are inefficient compared to those who focus. Set 3 goals all in different areas of your life, Finance, Health, Relationships and so on, write them down on the index card and look at them every morning, and i mean every morning, it should be the first thing you do before you even brush your teeth or check your email.
Again focus make sure you do it, why everyday you might ask? Well good question because even if you have no clue on how you are going to accomplish that goal your brain will start to work in the background on how you can accomplish it, if you don’t look at your goals everyday you will forget about them and never accomplish them.
Lies are all you need
Your brain while it may be smart isn’t very bright (if that makes sense) if you write down a lie on a piece of paper, i.e. i will have 1 million dollars by Jan 1st 2009, your brain won’t be able to tell the difference between the lie and the truth and eventually your brain will start to believe it, this is why you must read your goals every morning when you wake up.
So whats next?
Once you have accomplished a goal cross it out and reward yourself, people are still animals at the end of the day, reward us and we will do that behaviour again and again, this is why smart people always reward themselves after they accomplish a goal, go for dinner or buy a new toy do something that will make you feel great for accomplishing that goal.
Once you have completed one goal in one area of your life put a new goal up and make sure you challenge yourself don’t just make it easy because you want a reward
You will be thanking me for this tip if you implement it, if not then continue as you were but i doubt you would have read this far if you were really accomplishing what you wanted in life!
If your not scheduling your time properly try reading my post on how i spend my day

Cookie Stuffing for fun and profit!
Written by The Kid on April 7, 2008Well it’s testing time and like i promised it rhymes with cookie stuffing, for this we are going to use the guide over at ESRUN - Blackhat SEO to do a little test, we are going to be using the Image Cookie Stuffing Method.
Basic Run down
Cookie stuffing is when you insert your cookie into the clients browser, kinda of like if you were a salesman for a company and you walked up to people in the mall and said when you go to Bestbuy tell them Joe sent you. This will allow you to collect your commission from the sale, so what we do is go and place our image on places that people shop or even better prepare to shop, i.e forums, blogs, wiki anywhere that lets you upload a avatar image or any image.
Things that are required
1. Own hosting, this can be shared hosting where your blog is.
2. Affiliate accounts with major companies or affiliate companies.
3. To automate this you can use a forum posting software like Xrumer don’t ask me where to get this though, but using this you can automate a lot of posts.
4. Some work ethic - realistically you can do this for 30-40 mins a day and leave a bunch of comments on a ton of forums or blogs.
So step one read the guide over at Esrun about how to do the basics and use these files to get yourself setup, next step is go to Google and type in the word “Forums” with the term your searching from in front of it, i.e ebooks, amazon or any product you are promoting try poker or goto a health forum on a specific product and goto the FAQ section or somewhere were people who are about to buy are looking for answers.
That’s it, it’s just that easy =)
Leave your comments rinse and repeat and your done, i will be running a 30 day test and report back with the results. Till then what do you do? Any places you want to share?
P.S. Shout out to Esrun for writing such a good post on the subject, no need to duplicate his post, the internet already has enough duplicate content. ![]()
Fun Fridays: Top Ten Impersonations
Written by The Kid on April 4, 2008Impersonations are considered the holy grail of comedy, well maybe not for everyone but for me, nothing makes me laugh more then watching someone do a spot on impression. There is only one person who loves impersonations more than i do and that is David Letterman thanks to David for getting a lot of this talent and allowing them to use his stage to share this gift.
I love them so much i have complied my top ten list of my favorite impressions.
10. Reggie Regg does a spot on impression of Denzel Washington and Morgan Freeman.
9.Rob Magnotti - why watch Everybody loves Raymond when you can just watch Rob he also does a great Bill Cosby.
8. Mike MacRae - From Harrison Ford to Ozzy Osbourne Mike gets it perfect and makes everything flow flawlessly!
7. Aries Spires -Best known for his work on Madtv he is also a very good impressionist anyone who knows hip hop will love his impression of everyone from Jay-z to Snoop Dogg!
6. Eddie Murphy - The first time i saw Eddie in Delirious is was seriously life changing i never laughed that hard in my life, this is from the follow up which is Raw and it is the standard for Bill Cosby impressions.
also a bonus video of him doing a Richard Prior impersonation he is the KING!
5. Matt Damon - On the late show with David Letterman Matt Damon showed a skill i didn’t know he had, he did an amazing impersonation of Matthew Mcconaughey don’t ask him to do anyone else though.
4. Rich Little - He is a Vegas favorite and been on the scene for a very long time Rich does an amazing Ronald Reagan, but his talent is to keep the people laughing the whole time.
3. Kevin Pollock - Winning the bronze Kevin Pollock is the standard for Christopher Walken impressions and he he has a great range of other voices.
2. Frank Caliendo - He might be the best impressionist of the new millenium he has an amazing range of people and was a hard hard choice for number two but he does a great job and if the number one hadn’t been so good then he would have number one for sure.
1. Kevin Spacey - He’s a talented actor but he is an amazing impressionist this is honestly the best impression i have ever see he nails everyone he is doing and he is genius, with such a wide range that’s why he gets the top spot.

Written by The Kid on April 3, 2008In the post i wrote in March The Power of Contacts i said that it’s not who you know it’s what you do with who you know that matters. I wrote in the post that one great way is to meet people is at conferences but you can only attend so many this year i think i will be going to about 5 maybe 6, but there are at least over 300+ days to network so how do you do it?
Forums for success
Forums are a great place to network learn from people and strike up friendships, some of the forums that i read are.
www.digitalpoint.com
www.wickedfire.com
www.dnforum.com
forum.digeratimarketing.co.uk
www.syndk8.net
Pay Attention
And some more all located in the resources section of this blog, so how do you network? Well before you go and send private messages to everyone first your going to want to learn the forums, Digital Point is a friendly forum while Wickedfire will flame you to hell if you ask something stupid. A forum is just a gathering of similar minded people and if you don’t read it right you will look like a tool and lose the respect of a lot of members who could potentially become your friends and potential business partners.
Don’t try to be everyones friend
In each forum there are different cliques and that is the key pay attention to who likes who and figure out who is the smartest then start leaving comments that actually add to the content of the post, or even a different insight but don’t just put “nice post +rep”.
Follow these tips to make friends and business partners and watch your business soar, what do you do? How do you make new contacts online?
Leave a comment and let me know.
