Who do you talk to?

I wrote in the post that one great way is to meet people is at conferences but you can only attend so many this year i think i will be going to about 5 maybe 6, but there are at least over 300+ days to network so how do you do it?

Forums are a great place to network learn from people and strike up friendships, some of the forums that i read are.

Well before you go and send private messages to everyone first your going to want to learn the forums, Digital Point is a friendly forum while Wickedfire will flame you to hell if you ask something stupid. A forum is just a gathering of similar minded people and if you don’t read it right you will look like a tool and lose the respect of a lot of members who could potentially become your friends and potential business partners.
Don’t try to be everyones friend
In each forum there are different cliques and that is the key pay attention to who likes who and figure out who is the smartest then start leaving comments that actually add to the content of the post, or even a different insight but don’t just put “nice post +rep”.
